As it’s the autumn equinox and the weather this September has been warm, we decided to go out for a walk and make some outdoor art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy’s land art.
- Rocks, sticks, stones, seeds, leaves, berries and nuts that can be found on the floor as you walk around your chosen location;
- A camera to record your art.
Firstly we found a spot with lots of fallen leaves, sticks and acorns. We cleared a space and starting from the centre of the circle placed our found objects to make a circle of natural things. Once we had finished making our pattern we photographed the pattern. This was a really nice autumn activity for all the family as everyone could be involved!
